Privacy

Verdix collects as little as possible, and nothing leaves your environment unless you choose to send it. This page states exactly what can be collected, when, and what never is.

This website

verdix.dev is a static site. No analytics scripts. No tracking pixels. No cookies. The web host keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser user agent, pages visited, timestamps) as part of normal hosting. Verdix does not query, export, or analyse them.

The contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, Verdix stores your name, email address, and message in a database, and records the IP address the request came from and your browser user agent. A copy is emailed to us so we can read and reply.

We keep these submissions only as long as we need them to answer you. See Requesting deletion below to have yours removed.

The Verdix application

Verdix sends nothing on its own. There is no background telemetry and no automatic reporting. Data leaves your host only when you open the feedback panel and send it yourself.

When you open the panel, Verdix shows you exactly what it will send. You can edit or remove any item, preview the full payload, or cancel. Nothing is transmitted until you send it, and the submission travels to Verdix over HTTPS.

What a submission includes

What it never includes

The server attaches a random install ID to each submission, so we can recognise repeated feedback from one deployment. The ID is pseudonymous: nothing links it to you, your network, or your data. Verdix keeps submitted feedback for 365 days.

Requesting deletion

Feedback sent from the application. Use Request deletion of my data in the feedback panel. That request carries your install ID, which is the only thing that identifies your feedback rows, so it is the only channel that can find and remove them. Once you uninstall Verdix, nothing that remains can be linked back to you by anyone, including us.

Contact form messages. To remove a message you sent through the contact form, send another through the form at /contact. These submissions are identified by the email address you provided.
